I liked this book more than the first one in this series. This book is very emotional and kind of sad really. I like Dani and Jax - even though I really didn't think I was going to since Jax is kind of man-whoring ass. But he's more of a sweet ass in this book and I liked his connection with Dani.
Unlike the first book, this one is Dual-POV and I enjoyed it.

There were moments that made me laugh, make me feel very sad and the book also contains quite a bit of steamy hot scenes.

The book can be read as a stand alone, but I suggest reading the first book first. It introduces the characters and this one already gives away the ending of the first one.
